I am back

Wow! I can't believe it has been close to 3 months since I have posted in this journal.

I doubt that I have many readers left, but let's get it crank up again just in time for football season. I am going to be putting up some free sports picks for those that like to bet on sports in addition to playing poker.

Since it has been awhile, I am just going to briefly recap the past few months:

• Cashed for a little over $1200 in a UltimateBet $40 MTT
• Had a nice run playing SNGs on Bodog.
• Played in a couple of the Stars big Sunday tourneys but no cash
• Went through a two weeks period when I could really relate to the idiots on Recpoker who thinks that online poker is rigged...I was constantly one or two outed on the river.

All in all, life has still been good. I am leaving next Friday for a week vacation in Saratoga, NY. I hope to play in a couple tournaments at Turning Stone Casino. They happen to be running the Empire State Hold'em Championship. It will be nice to take a break from the laptop and hold some real cards. Besides that, you will find me at Saratoga racetrack betting on the ponies.
